sheet-waving deemed a success!

Well, the effort appears to have paid off. We found that once the rain started, the sheets were useless for waving, so we came up with the idea of starching the sheets to keep them a little stiff. We gathered up the starch amongst us, but apparently starch just isn't as popular as it used to be.

We all ran back to our houses to get potatoes. After a mini-marathon potato slicing session, we immediately rubbed down the bedsheets with the potato slices, and were able to stiffen the sheets enough to be effective "air-movers".

We caught this shot as the sheet-waving seemed to create furrows in the clouds...

I assume your Nobel Prize is forthcoming. :-)

Well, Well. It seems being 3 sheets to the wind paid off.

Dammit Mr. Groff... I wanted to say that! That said I'll have to be happy with making the observation that Mr. King must know his sheet!

Good to see you back in the blogosphere.

I assume since the sheet waving worked that all is well there, which I am happy about.
